Vi är otroligt glada att välkomna målvakten Henrik von Wangenheim till herrlaget! Henrik ansluter från Grasshoppers i schweiziska högstaligan och kommer att dela målvaktsposten med Albin Wigren.
A warm welcome to FBC Lerum, what do you know about the club you are now joining?
– I’ve seen that FBC Lerum is one of the most established and oldest clubs in Sweden with a strong tradition and a large youth promotion historically. The club’s vision appeals to me very much and the numbers speaks for themselves. I am very happy to play for such a well known club. Also, happy 40th birthday to FBC Lerum and celebrate a wonderful party at 17th May!
You are coming from Grasshoppers in the Swiss highest league, tell our fans a little about your floorball career so far?
– I started playing floorball for FBC Munich while living in Germany. After moving to Switzerland, I joined Grasshopper Club Zurich, where I’ve spent the past 12 years playing through all the junior levels. For the last three seasons, I’ve been part of the men’s team in the highest Swiss league reaching the semi finals each year. Additionally, I played for the german U19 national team at the world championships in Brno 2021.
What do you know about Allsvenskan as a league?
– I’ve heard Allsvenskan offers a very high level of competition, even though it’s the second tier in Sweden. I imagine that some aspects are even stronger than in Switzerlands top league.
What are you most looking forward to about moving to Sweden?
– I’m most exited to get to know the team and become part of the FBC Lerum community. Beyond floorball, I’ve always loved the Scandinavian nature – so I’m really looking forward to life in Sweden.
Last but not least, any greetings you would like to send to our supporters?
– I’m really looking forward to meeting you all. I hope to bring energy and stability to the team and help us achieve our goals. I’ll give my best in every game and am looking forward for an exiting season!
