I tisdags säkrade FBC Lerum en topp 4 placering genom att besegra IBK Kungälv på bortaplan med 5-3. Med en match kvar har FBC Lerum säkrat en topp-4 placering i tabellen och är klara för nya division 1. I sista omgången får FBC Lerum besök av Stenungsunds IBK med den passionerade och sympatiska tränaren Glenn Johansson i ledarstaben.
I Stenungsunds trupp hittar vi bl.a. målsprutan Ellen Hedberg, bollskickliga Emma Reinestrand, lagkaptenen Amanda Lagergren och målvakten Amanda Ågren för att nämna några intressanta spelare.
Matcherna lagen emellan brukar vara fysiska och jämna undantaget resultatet i februari 2022. (3-2, 3-2 e.förl. 5-2, 15-1 och 5-4). Även om det oftast är jämna matcher så är det FBC Lerum som har lyckats få med sig 14 av 15 möjliga poäng. Vi har stämt av läget med forwarden Leo Vogt som anslöt till oss inför säsongen från tyska klubben UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels.
Your first floorball season i Sweden is almost over. What impressions have you gathered?
– I’ve had so much fun and I have learned a lot. I’m playing in an incredible Team with a lot of passion and spirit and I have a great Coaching-Team with good tactics and new ideas. All in all, this season has been amazing and I am really happy that we are in the new Division 1 next season.
Much has been new to you. Teammates, coaching staff, game plan, etc. What challenges have been the biggest for you?
– In the beginning the language was my biggest challenge but after some time I got better and understanding and talking is now easier. My biggest challenge for me now, is to adjust more to the “swedish” playing style. It’s much more physical and fast and I still need to work on that.
5-3 win against Kungälv on Tuesday. A victory that secured your place in new div 1. Can you sum up the match for us please?
– I think we had a little rocky start in the first period. We got a lot of Pressure from Kungälv and we didn’t have a lot of scoring chances. But in the break we got a good Peptalk in the Lockerroom and after that we played a much better game. More shots, more fight and more speed. We kept fighting and took the three points home and secured our place in the new div 1.
On Saturday you face Stenungsunds IBK who is placed 11th in league table. The first game was physical and even. Which key moments will be important to make a good team performence?
– We have to start the game with full focus and motivation. We have to be ready and fight for the ball. If we play the ball fast and play physical we can bring the ball into the net. We have to be awake and motivated the whole 60 minutes and then I think there is no way of stopping us.
